You are cordially invited to "Salutes and Salutations - 2012 Danville Chamber Board Installation, Community Awards and Veterans Building Benefit!" Thursday, February 23, 5:30 at the Danville Community Center, 420 Front Street. We will welcome in our new board and Chairman, Jonathan Watts, Attorney at Law at a dinner of small plates from Chamber restaurant members, and wine. Local favorites, Alma Desnuda will entertain. Installation Raffle: The Chamber is also in the process of acquiring donations to add to raffle baskets which will be raffled off at the Installation. The donation of a products, service or Gift Card “shows off” your business by incenting folks to try it out, while helping the Chamber to fund this worthwhile event. Donate today! Community Awards Nominations:
Every year the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce facilitates four community awards: Bay Area News Group - Business Person of the Year, The Danville Express - Charitable Organization of the Year, Bay Area News Group - Citizen of the Year, and The Valley Sentinel - Educator of the Year. Attached are criteria we use for giving the awards. Also attached is a nomination form.
