To Our Valued Members

I would like to dedicate this column to the Chamber members and volunteers who go
above and beyond the call of duty. As a non profit organization with a small staff, we are so grateful and appreciative of the extra time given by our members. This is especially true during our major events. We really couldn’t accomplish all that we do without their support and participation. More recently, we had our June Fine Arts Faire. Along with that, we have the upcoming Aloha Golf tournament just around the corner on July 26th. I would like to mention a few of the exceptional people who regularly volunteer. Please know that there are many other things they could be doing instead of volunteering at the Chamber. That is why they are HEROS to us. The next time you see them, please say thank you for the gift of their time and service:

Joe Buenavista with Merrill Lynch who has chaired the Golf Tournament for 4 years. His leadership continues to make it the best it can be.

Chris and Jim Edlund with Christe James Fine Jewelry Works. They continuously give of their time; donate raffle prizes as well as the beverage garden fence.

Lastly, thank you to the Basil Leaf and Tower Grille restaurants for their support with the June Fine Arts Faire. Excellent food with community minded owners.

I look forward to seeing you at the next Chamber event. Together, we can make a difference.
