Dear Fellow Chamber Members,

I am so excited about serving you as the 2009 Chairman of the Board for the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce. I look forward to my term with enthusiasm and new ideas. I follow a terrific leader, Elaine Cortez Schroth with Bay Building Maintenance. I would like to publicly thank Elaine for dedicating so much time to the Chamber. She is involved in the community, her family and her business. I look forward to following in her foot steps.

I chose the theme, “The Chamber with Golden Opportunities” because my husband Jim and I own a jewelry store on Hartz Avenue. We both feel our business is located in a “gem” of a community and we are believers in the Chamber. The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce has been around for 60 years and serves the businesses and the community at large. With the help of the Chamber’s strong team of President & CEO Melony Newman, Charlotte Mills, Debra Long, and Robin Sell, I look forward to 2009!
The 2009 Board of Directors and I will provide the Chamber with professional guidance and leadership this year.
