Summer Fun

New Beginnings….For You,
Your Business, Your Community

It’s been an exciting year for me so far! School is almost out and the high temperatures have arrived. It’s summertime. Take the time to enjoy walking the streets and trails; enjoying all our new restaurants and shops in the area, such as what you will find in our new Rose Garden Area. You will certainly discover a new shop, restaurant, or building wherever you go in the Danville area!

We have had lots of new ideas this year, all starting with our website and logo. We continue to enhance the site and incorporate the look into all of our material. We also hosted a salute to our 1-3 year members to help them learn more about the Chamber. It was very well received and we will continue this idea with other members. Thank you to Steve Wilcox, Ria Sim and especially Chris Edlund for organizing a great event.

Jonathan Watts organized a Business to Business Expo this past month and Marge Jensen, Rich Wood, Town Manager Joe Calabrigo presented valuable information. Kudos to Jonathan for his efforts.

We are quickly moving into our event season. Please mark your calendars for the Danville Fine Arts Faire June 21st and 22nd. Also, remember to stay in town for the 150th Town of Danville’s Celebration of “Hay Days” on July 3rd and 4th. And quickly thereafter is our annual Aloha Golf Tournament on July 21st. These are great opportunities to make new business contacts and have a great time.

See you around town!

Warmest Regards,
Elaine Cortez Schroth
