Spring has Sprung
New Beginnings….For You, Your Business, Your Community
Dear Fellow Chamber Members,
As we say, “Spring has Sprung,” Not only have we already had a successful beginning of the year
with the Installation Dinner and the announcement of the Citizen, Business Person, and Educator of the Year, but also the successful launching of the new Website.
In addition, our annual State of the Town Luncheon is always informative and a productive Chamber event. It should not be missed. We now step into spring ready for our next series of events to perform and participate in all around the lovely Danville Area.
Speaking of the Danville Area, aren’t we all excited about the new growth and development happening throughout the downtown area, the Rose Center, and the Blackhawk Plaza? (And that is not all the new development, of course.) This new development provides our Chamber members the opportunity to shop and do business locally………whether you need an advertiser, carpet installer, marketer, or banker, the Chamber can help you out! Also, please use this opportunity to promote your own business and also help a fellow Chamber member to provide service in the Community.
So “step into spring” with motivation towards “New Beginnings” for you and your business. Take the time to look over the new and improved Chamber Progress and make time to attend a meeting of interest or the Monthly Mixer…..you may meet the perfect business or personal connection. Together, let’s plan for the future of the Community by using the Chamber to promote issues and be heard.
Warmest Regards,
Elaine Cortez Schroth
2008 Chairman of the Board
