To our valued Members,

Summer time is here and all the great things that go with it! It means higher temperatures, traffic is lighter, vacations, long evening walks, pool time and the landscaping is lush. It also means the Danville Fine Arts Faire, which drew crowds with shoppers. It was wonderful to see our restaurants and businesses busy. The event is meant to stimulate business during the weekend. When I see a restaurant full or see shoppers leaving a local retail shop, that means success to me.

The Shop local campaign has been very successful, creative and timely. The committee has worked very hard to reach the desired goal. The purpose is to remind the community to shop locally if and when possible. Small business owners are dependant on your business. But it also means your tax dollars stay in the community.

Danville Life has a new look and style. Because of the changes, there is a slight delay in the release date but look for it to be available Sept. 4th. We are excited about the changes and new direction. The Town and the Chamber worked well to develop the new concept. We hope you are pleased.
