Kick Off To Summer

Dear Members,
What a kick- off to summer! The incredible changing weather and lots of exciting Chamber activities. This year has been amazing for Chamber sponsored social
networking. Keep on coming!
Perhaps the most memorable event was our “Farewell to Charlotte Mills” open house. I think everyone in Danville stopped by to say good bye. She is missed by Board, Staff and Members alike. Soon after was Lori Sato’s “Successful Strategies that Empower Women in Business” at Pascal’s. I understand it was quite informative. (since it was for women only, I wasn’t allowed to attend…..)
What a fun mixer we had at Patelco, hosted by Toni Sciaky with incredible food from Tower Grille served by Gordon. A wonderful networking event. The Danville Fine Arts Faire was beautiful and what a great way to show off our Town as well and bring others to our community to shop. How else could we bring in 20-30,000 people to our downtown?
Next, our Golf “pro”, Joe Buenavista is doing a swinging job leading the “Aloha Golf Classic” Committee. Larry Marx, Diablo Country Club Manager hosted a terrific luncheon for the committee. We are getting ready for another terrific tournament on July 26th. The list of players is filling up fast so if you haven’t registered or secured a sponsorship, you need to act fast. Also, we have a lot of opportunities for non golfer participation for our members. Just call the Chamber for more information.
Please visit our website www.danvilleareachamber.com or call our office for more details on all of our news.
The Board and I look forward to helping you “Maximize Your Membership.”
Chairman of the Board, Joe Comb
