Fall is Approaching
From the President’s Desk
To Our valued members:
The fall season is fast approaching. School has resumed and the days are shorter.
We had a successful and well attended Golf tournament, even in these challenging economic times. We are looking forward to a similar experience with our annual Business Showcase, Food & Wine event on Sept 16th. This is a gorgeous and elegant venue at the Blackhawk Museum. We have some new faces and businesses participating. Come experience the variety of businesses and restaurants, while tasting wine and mingling with friends. It’s a great value, too!
The Pleasanton Chamber is hosting the Tri Valley Mayors Summit on October 5th at the Palm Center. It is an opportunity to hear first hand about their respective cities.
The Fall Crafts festival and the Lighting of the Old Oak Tree will be here before you know it! For event details, visit the Chamber website, www.danvilleareachamber.com
Finally, The “Shop Local” phrase is more important then ever. The purpose is to remind us to shop locally when possible. Small business owners are dependant on your business. But it also means your tax dollars stay in the community. When I see a restaurant full or see shoppers leaving a retail shop with purchases, that means success to me.
I look forward to proudly serving you and the business community.
