Another Saturday Night

“Another Saturday night and I ain”t got nobody” ….
Actually it’s Saturday late morning and I have Matt and
once again we are off to get our exercise and walk to
town! Anyone who knows me knows there is always a latte in my future so Starbuck’s was our first stop.
Did any of you know that Joe Calibrigo owns a “horse”? Well a Giant Schnauzer anyway named Cosmo. Joe and his wife, family and Cosmo were also out enjoying the weather and our lovely downtown. On to Farmer’s Market we found Dr. Sarah Hyre from Aligh Healing Center at the Chamber table. Did you know that any new patient would receive their first appointment, exam and treatment for only $45! That is a huge savings! She has many other packages available which will save you even more! After purchasing potatoes for Loaves and Fishes and grabbing a few fresh items for ourselves we headed down Railroad Avenue to the new 4G Wireless. Matt needed a new cover for his IPhone and it just so happened to be the Grand Opening celebration so he got a free Blue Tooth with his purchase! Everyone in there was most helpful and is very interested in participating in our Chamber Aloha Golf Tournament also! With stomachs growling we stopped at Chow and sat outside as I was craving their Chicken Tortilla Soup. It is made fresh each day and I highly recommend it. Full now we began our stroll up Hartz. Derby from Derby Jewelers we found hanging out his Dutch door. Derby specializes in antique and vintage design. If you want to see some of his work just ask me as Matt recently purchased a ring for me there and I love it! On down the street I had to stop into Rick’s Picks. You have got to check on them frequently as the deals come and go practically daily. I put a few things on hold that I needed to come back for with my car and on that note Matt dragged me out of there. Remember, he hates shopping! We headed up to Auburn James as I heard they were carrying products from Napa Style in Yountville. While leaving our hand and I believe nose prints on their windows as it was too early and they weren’t open yet I did see the Napa Style salt rubs on their shelves! Happy now that I can get them right here in town we crossed the street and dashed into Patelco to take out more money so I can continue to support the local economy of course! If you know anyone who might be interested they are currently offering a 3.15%APR on new and used auto loans. Toni Sciaky and her staff are always so helpful! Passing Sotheby’s International Realty we stopped to chat with Mary Ann DeGuzman. Mary Ann is a smile walking down the street! Did you know she could sing? She specializes in songs from the 40’s and 50’s. We may see her at one of our many Chamber and DDA events singing to us on a street corner! Around the bend we made our way to Last Detail. Judy is always my first stop for gifts and sometimes a little something for me! Check out the jewelry and handbags all at 50% off all the time! You can’t hit Prospect Avenue without experiencing the magnetic pull to Danville Chocolates….I found Terri and Bri making chocolate favors for a baby shower. What a great idea! They were adorable and edible too! For the first time I bought several of the barks. Avalanche,
Almond, Cookies and Cream….YUM!
Now on chocolate overload it’s time to head back home. Up Diablo Road we go happy and full ready to get home so I can get the car to return to town to gather up my purchases…Gosh I love this town!
