2008 An Exciting Year!

To our valued Members,
2008 has been an exciting year! It began with the unveiling of the Chamber’s new logo and website during our Installation Dinner on February, 7th. This accomplishment is the direct result of the marketing committee, under the leadership of Steve Wilcox with Summit Financial. Steve’s vision and business expertise greatly assisted the Chamber in reviewing its image, technology for the future and emphasizing our name. The committee continues to meet quarterly and I am grateful for their contributions: Guy Greco, Joe Combs, Sara Schmitz, Loucy DeAtley, Rich Wood, Sharon Schuyler, and Rick Johnson.
The Chamber has an outstanding staff with Debra Long as Office Manager, Robin Sell as Events Coordinator and Charlotte Mills with Membership Services. They work very well together and I am amazed at how much is accomplished by such a small and mighty team. Of course, the volunteers are imperative to the success of the Chamber and we cherish the relationships and their contributions.
The Board of Directors continues to oversee the direction and success of the Chamber. They are led by dynamic people from the business community. 2008 COB Elaine Cortez Schroth with Bay Building Maintenance has been terrific to work with. She is incredibly hardworking and dedicated to the community. She has been a long time Chamber Member and truly understands the benefits of being a part of the Chamber and the community. She has been a terrific leader.
