2007 has been an exciting year!

2007 has been an exciting year! The Chamber has an outstanding team with Debra Long as Office Manager, Robin Sell overseeing Events and Charlotte Mills with Membership. As you can imagine, we all work as a team stepping in and helping each other. I am amazed at how much is accomplished by such a small team. Of course, the volunteers are the back bone to our success! Thank you all.

The Board of Directors continues to oversee our direction and successes. They are led by dynamic people and this year was no exception. Diane Slater, with First Republic Bank, has been such a joy to work with and is the epitome of professionalism,
talent and grace. She has been a long time Chamber Member and truly understands the benefits of being a part of the Chamber and the community. I have enjoyed working with her and I cannot thank her enough. It has been an honor.

Please look for our marketing announcement in early 2008. Thanks to our marketing committee under the leadership of Steve Wilcox with Summit Financial, we will have some new and positive changes to our “look” and our website.

I look forward to hearing from you regarding any suggestions. We are your Chamber and we rely on you to let us know what is important to you. It’s often said: you get out of it, what you put into it. That holds true for the Chamber.
