Lighting of the Old Oak Tree begins at 5:15

The Danville tree lighting, a long time family tradition in Danville, will take place the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 27, 2009, from 5:15-8:30 pm along Diablo Road near the Old Oak Tree.

From 5:15-6:15pm, gather at the tree for holiday refreshments and music and sing along with the San Ramon Valley High School Chorus under the direction of Ken Abrams. Then, from 6:15-6:30 the ceremonial lighting of the tree by Father Christmas and Snow Angel will occur. Finally, from 6:30-8:30 the magic continues with holiday music, entertainment and refreshments located at various businesses throughout downtown Danville.

Bring your family and friends and join in the holiday festivities of this wonderful season. Come to Danville.
