Roxana Santos De Hayden Classical Architectural Murals, Trompe l'oeil and Faux Finishes

Roxana Santos De Hayden was educated in architectural Interior Design in London. She earned the distinguished Painters Stainers Award with the highest pass with distinction from The Polytechnic of the South Bank. In addition, she was named best in all England for the year 1981. Shortly thereafter she relocated to Milan, Italy, where she worked for the next seventeen years as a full-time interior and industrial designer. While in Italy she became fascinated by trompe l'oeils and frescos. In her last four years there she became a professional trompe l'oeil and mural artist.

Roxana takes great pride in her ability to integrate architecturally accurate structures into her artwork. Her preferred technique is to use acrylic base paints. In 1998 she moved from Italy to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she now resides. Each of her trompe l’oeils is a unique, exclusive and timeless piece of art. She works closely with clients to reflect their desires and to work within their timeframes.

Roxana does Decors in any Style from Interior and Exterior Murals to Faux Finishes (Antique, Marbling, Stones). Her Murals consists of European, Architectural, Panoramas, Nature & Wild Life, Tropical & Beaches and Children. Her Faux Finishes have been done on Walls, Cabinets, Fire Places and Furniture.
