Global Health and Education Foundation

The Global Health and Education Foundation (GHEF) and the WaterLeaders Foundation were founded in 2005 after the tremendous success of the Wheelchair Foundation which was founded in 2000. They are all headquartered in the east bay of San Francisco, California. Together the three distinct organizations make up a nonprofit network dedicated to eliminating water-related disease, providing hope, mobility and freedom and expanding basic health education and economic development opportunities.
